The birth of Mehr-e-Ezam
Social responsibility in the way of taking care of the underprivileged sectors and activating the existing potential in such areas prompted Ezam Group to think of a significant and lasting project. For this reason, it was in the early days of 1400SH that the “Mehr-e-Ezam” project was born. Taking care of the less privileged areas, attracting children and teenagers to a healthy sports environment, activating a large part of unused sports spaces and providing high-quality training by the best sports experts and trainers for free were among the first goals and steps taken by Mehr-e-Ezam officials. Later, with the expansion of the activity and its specialization, the need to establish an independent sports organization in the heart of the Ezam Group was felt to take responsibility for this big project.
Sport clubs in Iran usually start their activities by buying or establishing teams. An action that could have been the starting point of Mehr-e-Ezam Club, but the essential goals that were set for this club from the beginning, caused the multi-billion budget not to be used to buy a team and a few players. Instead, it has become a suitable sports environment for basic training and providing sports equipment for thousands of children and teenagers across the country. With this view and after a few months of Mehr-e-Ezam’s activity in some provinces, preparations were made to establish the club. In December 2021, the Mehr-e-Ezam Club was officially established to follow up the activities of Mehr-e-Ezam in the form of a club.
Mehr-e-Ezam’s activities began before the club’s launch. The initial steps were taken much earlier when Islamshahr was chosen as the first base. The Mehr-e-Ezam project officially started on 15 June 2021 with the opening of the Islamshahr center. At first, the activity was followed up on a trial basis in this center in Islamshahr. Then the opening of other branches throughout the country was investigated and provided. So that today this number has reached 13 centers in different cities, and more than 10 thousand children and teenagers have been activated.

Islamshahr, Bam, Bandar Anzali, Birjand, Tabriz, Khorramshahr, Rasht, Zahedan, Kordestan, Shiraz, Qazvin, Gorgan, Mashhad, Bojnourd and Ilam are active centers of Mehr-e-Ezam Cultural and Sports Club, in most of them by activating unused sports spaces, a significant number of children and teenagers are covered.
Mehr-e-Ezam Cultural and Sports Club are ready to establish more centers in the less privileged provinces and cities by identifying the capacity and, of course, the existing gaps and supporting the children of this country. However, the priority and focus of the club is more on quality education and tries not to sacrifice quality for quantity.
